Hi, I’m Kirsty — founder of The Dress Party Co, mum of five and a bride-to-be myself. The idea for my business came from my own wedding dress-shopping experience. I could only bring a limited number of people, the appointment didn’t feel personal, and I felt pressured to buy extras I didn’t want or need. Instead of leaving excited, I came away feeling stressed and deflated. The thought of repeating the experience when shopping for bridesmaid dresses made me realise there had to be a better way.
That’s why I created The Dress Party Co — a mobile boutique bringing wedding, bridesmaid and prom dresses directly to your home. You can try on beautiful dresses in a relaxed environment, surrounded by the people who matter most, with friendly and honest advice and no pressure to buy. I cater for a wide range of styles and sizes, including dresses up to size 36, and I’m proud to offer an inclusive and disability-confident service.
